OUR STORY
Since 2005 for about twelve years, Settimo has hosted the Tempistretti short and independent film festival, conceived and carried out by Lucio Vecchio, which has discovered young Italian filmmakers and also offered a glimpse of the international scene.
In 2017 Dario Zanrè and Fabio Bresciani, having met at a cineforum, attended an evening of Tempistretti and agreed with Lucio to create an international festival dedicated to short films based in Settimo Milanese. The idea was to support, also financially (thanks to the support of the City of Settimo Milanese and sponsors), young authors who show talent and creativity.
The team would then be joined by Andrea Lazzaron cineforum host together with Fabio and Alex Raccuglia, an old acquaintance of Lucio from the Videomakers.net forum days. Thus in 2017 the first edition was born. From year to year the increasingly comprehensive and structured festival has hosted filmmakers who have definitely made their way and the interest of the audience has always increased, so much so that it has earned two evenings.
In addition, in recent years the team has been strengthened by the additions of Lorenzo Sangalli (a cinephile expert particularly on David Lynch and Pasolini) of actress Giulia Napolitani.
MISSION
Our goal is to bring the public closer to the world of short films and help young filmmakers demonstrate their talent.
